Biltong is a specially prepared dried meat which, unlike jerky, is sliced after the drying process. This makes this type of meat incredibly juicy, tasty and authentically more like fresh meat due to the thicker slices. The ingredients that are most often used to season the beef are also different, giving it a very specific taste. We decided to add the best of South Asia to a special meat preparation process that has its roots in South Africa, resulting in a taste that is absolutely world class.

The sun-dried peppercorns of the Kampot red pepper can perfectly bring out the flavour of the beef. The exotic notes of the hand-sorted grains perfectly complement the aroma and flavour that biltong acquires during the preparation process, during which no preservatives are present. Enjoy 50g of this authentic treat on the go, to replenish energy during sports or just for a taste in the evening, perhaps with a beer or a glass of wine.

Why Biltong with pepper?

You won't find biltong with a pepper flavour on the European jerky market. There are plenty of jerkys with this flavour, but mostly it is just plain pepper (a.k.a - not Kampot pepper). Our premise was that if we mixed two quality products, the result would be colossal: the only beef biltong in the world with Kampot pepper.

Pepper for drying

When preparing jerky, it is important to season it properly before drying it. There are many spice mixtures, but no one has yet invented a simpler and better thing than pepper. Its distinctive flavour perfectly complements the texture of the beef and adds just the right amount of spiciness. 

What is Biltong?

Biltong is a type of dried meat that has its roots in South Africa. The word biltong comes from the Dutch bil (meat, leg) and tong (strip). It is made mostly from beef, but you can also find biltong made from llama, antelope, ostrich, or venison. The final product has thicker slices of meat and is more succulent than jerky.

Our biltong is fresh and ready to eat, with no added sugar, it's a lovely juicy 50g and will keep for up to a year unopened.

Types of Kampot pepper

Černý pepř


This is harvested, unripe, at the beginning of the year when the grains are green. Black colouring occurs as the corns dry in the sun.

Grill it, fry it, stew it! What? Meat! Black pepper is perfect for steaks, red meat, sauces, soups and also for all types of pasta and Italian cuisine in general.

Bílý pepř


This is a champagne among peppers which has nothing to do with the white pepper you know. The white pepper you buy in shops here is just peeled unripe black pepper which tend to get musty and thus nobody likes it. The genuine white pepper is peeled from ripe red one (it is its seed) and so it gets its specific qualities for which it´s sought by top chefs all over the world – the white pepper opens up taste buds and multiplies the taste of each ingredient.

Show use

Perfect for grilling dark meat, grinding on cheese and pairing with wine and tapas. Also good for savoring vegetable soups, gnocchi, pesto, potato dishes, pasta, homemade baking, Asian cuisine and spreads.

Červený pepř


Genuine red Kampot pepper is unique in the world. It is extremely rare and grows only in a few places in the world. It is harvested fully ripe at the peak of the pepper season and thanks to its long ripening it is full of fructose, which gives it a unique sweet-fruity taste. The so-called “red pepper" (which is actually pink) we can find in the Czech Republic is not pepper at all and is so incorrectly labeled. It is a Brazilian peppercorn that grows in a tree and is popular for its colour.

Show use

Don´t use it for meat – it is a great friend with fish or seafood. On the other hand, you will love it in cold kitchen for vegetarian dishes, salads, vegetable, eggs, vegetable soups, risotto, sweet deserts, cocktails or Christmas sweets.
